Housing InsecurityAt Central Virginia Housing Coalition, our goal is to connect our community with information and resources to best serve their housing needs. Nobody plans on losing their housing and facing homelessness. However, the average American is only one paycheck away from becoming homeless. For families living paycheck to paycheck, one unexpected expense can jeopardize housing.
We Equip With ConfidenceWe work with families and individuals to try and prevent them from losing their housing when crisis strikes. We equip those who walk through our doors with the information and tools necessary for them to be successful renters or homeowners through education, counseling, community collaboration and case management.
We Equip for Success through Counseling and Education
“If you’re not willing to learn, no one can help you. If you are determined to learn, no one can stop you” (Zig Ziglar)
At Central Virginia Housing Coalition, we want you to have the tools, knowledge, and determination to live a secure and stable life. Through our Counseling and Education programs, you can work with our staff to equip yourself with the information you need to achieve your housing goals confidently!
Our housing counselor teaches Homeownership Education and Financial Literacy classes each month. You can also schedule one on one appointments to go over personal information, set goals, and create plans for follow through. We want to help you meet your housing needs, and achieve your dreams!
